I know that I have not posted much later, but I do have more posts and more reviews to come shortly. I have been pre-occupied lately with my new iPad 2 and haven’t had a lot to write about. But I did want to make sure that yo all know that I have not gone anywhere and I’ll be back soon with even more!

Update Coming Soon!
I am currently working on an update to this site that will improve the quality and information provided on each application that I review. This change will allow you to get information about other similar apps as well as real time information on pricing and app store reviews for each app right from the app review. This update should improve things quite a bit and will be coming within the next few weeks so stand by!!
More updates and reviews coming soon!
I haven’t forgotten about you and am currently working on more updates and more reviews for this blog, that all will be coming soon. I have been a little busy over the past few days but will have a lot more coming soon!
A short note about me & my reviews
At present most every app I have reviewed has received great ratings. This is more than likely because I have been reviewing first, the apps that I like the most. However, unfortunately, I cannot give all apps top reviews. Rest assured that this is not simply a matter of someone advertising for these apps or even giving everyone great marks. I have used literally hundreds of apps since the app store was first released. Out of those hundreds there are less than 50 that I even touch anymore. I’ll be reviewing all of them over time to make sure you get a good idea of not just the apps I like and think you should buy, but also the apps I think you should stay away from. Even free apps are not worth the trouble if they give you nothing but a headache.
As I am sure you have already figured out, my name is Paul. I am a Senior Software Engineer for a Multimedia company based out of the San Diego, CA area. I love every thing Apple and especially my iDevices. I am one of those geeks you have seen standing, waiting in line on the day the iPhone is released. Yes I have done that every single year except the very first (I waited a few months to get my first iPhone). I also waited a few months to get my iPad and now, I just can’t see myself living with it out! I decided to put together a list of the apps I like and don’t like, as well as information that I would have liked to read prior to purchasing any of these apps since I have indeed purchased so many! Why not share this information with everyone. I hope you are able to get information from the reviews that I provide. I type every review on my iPad (using the Notes app) I then copy and paste it into the WordPress app and publish the review from there. I also use an app on my iPad, a free app that I’ll be reviewing at some point, called PhotoPad for editing the photos that I publish with each review.
I know that while many developers are really happy to see positive reviews, there will be some who will be very unhappy to receive such negative reviews. I will be frank and honest about my review and should the information that I post be inaccurate, whether by my own mistake or because the app has since been updated, I will gladly correct my review and make sure every one knows. In general in the past, I have seen from the more mediocre developers, whether through app store reviews or through other mediums, that a negative review is not acceptable (to them). For some reason, they don’t turn that into a desire to fix their app but rather get angry at those who would publish such a review. However I do not agree, I think the world does need to know. If an app doesn’t do what it should, then people should know to stay away. Furthermore, in most cases I have contact the developers and gotten (or not) responses that do not resolve the issue. I will document these incidents as well as I think tech support can in many cases make or break the app, especially when one has problems with the app.
This will not be a forum for complaining, nor for me to get back at any developers. I did though want to explain that there will be some negative reviews on their way and wanted you to be prepared. I owe it to you, my readers to be honest in all my reviews.
